PrayEurope 40-40-40 — Monaco
Monaco is one of the smallest countries in the world. Best known for its casinos and tax havens, most people that live there are not from Monaco. Only about 1% of the population would say that they are followers of Christ. If you are looking for it on a map, look at the southern coast of France near the Italian border.
Dear Father,
As Solomon said after his attempts of living the party life, everything goes away and is for nothing. In the same respects, we pray for those living in Monaco that they see that living for You is the only thing that gives true purpose in life. We ask that You give strength to those that are sharing how You changed their lives with their neighbors that they may know Your love. We pray that many who think they understand You but have false information would hear the truth about You and give them open hearts to hear the truths and not the lies. Amen.

PrayEurope 40-40-40 — Moldova
Moldova is one of, if not the, poorest countries in Europe. It is located between Ukraine and Romania. 75% of men are unemployed as well as many have serious alcoholic issues.
Dear Father,
We ask that You be with the people of Moldova, many of whom have family members that have had to leave the country to find work. We ask that You show them the hope that comes from knowing You. We pray that You will continue to empower people like Anatolie & Igor working at Communitas where they are working to build up jobs for Moldavians while living out their lives as examples for You. We ask that You be with those reaching out the Muslims in this country that they might show Your love that is meant for everyone. Amen.

PrayEurope 40-40-40 — Malta
Malta is a set of islands off the North African coast where in the New Testament it talks about Paul being shipwrecked and later bitten by a snake but surviving.
Dear God,
You have a history of “saving” people on these islands and we ask that you work in their lives to spiritually “save” them. We ask that You work in their lives so that they can see how You have taken care of them and that they will come to trust in You. Please give encouragement and strength to those that are working at the University of Malta beginning to do campus ministry there as many students explore the spiritual side of life. Encourage those that do know You to share their hope based in You with their neighbors and friends. Amen.

PrayEurope 40-40-40 — Lithuania — Luxemburg — Macedonia
Been traveling but now home – now to catch you up on my prayers over the last few days.
Lithuania was once the largest state in Europe (back in the 1400s) and was the first state to declare its independence in the fall of the Soviet Union. Just north of Belarus, this country is rich with pride.
Dear Father,
We pray for Lithuania and it’s people. We pray that the Lithuanian people will hear You calling to them and will come to understand the love that You have for them. May those that do know You be bold in sharing how You have changed their lives and how others can know You. We pray that there would be a strong church leadership that knows You and loves You and that they would be positively influencing Lithuania for You. Amen.

Luxemburg is snuggled in between Germany, France and Belgium. A wealthy country where most of its nearly half a million population feel they are self-sufficient both materially and spiritually.
Dear Creator of Everything,
I ask that You work in the hearts of those living in Luxembourg that they would understand that their spiritual state-of-being is dependent on what You have done and not on what they have done. I pray that their spiritual eyes would be opened to all that You have done and provided for them. Lord, allow Your love to be the unifying force within this country and allow the influence that Luxemburg has to be used for Your glory. Amen.

You may have heard of Macedonia. It is mentioned in the Bible several times. It’s a small country on the north side of Greece.
Dear Lord,
We ask that You be in Macedonia today and work in the hearts of those that are spiritually seeking. We ask that You give strength to those that know You to share the impact You have had on their lives. Lord, we ask that You stir in the hearts of the Muslims that live in this country that they may hear through words or dreams about the True You. Amen.

PrayerEurope 40-40-40 — Liechtenstein
Liechtenstein is the small country between Austria and Switzerland. Before World War II, it was considered a poor country but now the standard of living is higher than the US. A very mountainous country that many religious revivals have pasted by.
Dear Lord,
We pray for the people of Liechtenstein that they would come to know the love that You have for them. We pray that those that know You will share their lives with their neighbors, especially those from Muslim backgrounds. We pray that followers of You will be bold in sharing their faith with others. Amen.

PrayEurope 40-40-40 — Lativa
Latvia is nestled up in the northeast corner of Europe next to Russia. The Latvian church suffered heavily under the Nazis and then later by the Communists. With the freedom of religion in 1988, many returned to knowing Jesus but many have been led to understanding God in ways that just aren’t true.
Dear God,
Today, we thank You for the freedom of religion that has returned to Latvia so that people can freely choose to follow You. We pray for the people of Latvia that they will hear the truth and come into a personal relationship with You. Lord, we ask that those who know You will boldly tell others about how their lives are different because of You. We ask that You be with this year’s elections and that You will be with those that get elected. Amen.

PrayEurope 40-40-40 — Kosovo
Kosovo is still trying to recover from the war between the Serbs and Albanians. Being given official independence in 2008, they are still looking for peace but its a peace only given by God.
Dear Lord,
We pray for the people of Kosovo that they would come to an understanding of their need for You and that they would hear about how You can fulfill those needs. We pray that the many Muslims (92% of the population) would be shown the truth that is that You love them and want them to know You intimately. We pray that those that do know You will be united together and be a reflection of Your love. Amen.
