DenmarkSometimes I’m not around my computer – gasp!- yes, its true as was this weekend so I was not able to update my blog properly.  Here’s to grace and catching up.

Denmark is the peninsula country above Germany and the people are known for being pleasure seekers as they have one of the oldest theme parks in the world and is known for its “sexual freedoms”.

Dear Lord,

We pray for the Danes who know You that they would see the opportunities to share their life change with others especially the unique opportunities with the many immigrants that are in Denmark.   We pray that You will help the people of Denmark see their need that is only satisfied by You. Amen.

EstoniaEstonia, up in the north east of Europe, is nestled right next to Russia and there are many religious traditions but few involve understanding the relationship we can have personally with God.

Dear Father,

We pray that the people of Estonia will understand what it means to be in a close, personal relationship with You, their Creator.  We pray that the followers of Jesus in Estonia will live their everyday lives in ways that make people take notice – in a positive way – in showing the desires You have for our lives. Amen.

FinlandFinland is a cold, northern country and is one of those places that sees very little sunlight in the winter. With a history of being tied to Western Europe but a heritage of kinship to Russia, Finland is a mixture of several cultures.

Dear God,

We pray for the people of Finland who have struggled these past couple of years with some random school shootings.  During this time, many have struggled with understanding Your ways.  We pray that they will continue to search.  We pray for those that follow You to be bold to share about Your love – even while taking saunas.  Amen.
